As a person who has been working
tirelessly in the Boston Community for about 30 years
and a close observer of our city governmental process,
I'm interested in improving upon our city's success. I
have become more and more concerned as our leadership
move further and further away from the real issues that
are affecting our community.
As a member of
the city council, I will promote policies that speed the
wheels of progress with regards to the issues that are
most important to our community. During my time in office,
I will work hard to ensure public safety in our community,
improve access to Job Training and Development and champion
educational initiatives that improve the quality of our
public schools. I will also work hard to make sure that
our communities' fiscal policy is transparent, open and
inclusive which is the most important element in developing
a balance budget. I
will work hard to promote policies that energize affordable
living in our community which in turn will encourage our
residents to remain in our community. I believe a new
attitude that supports our long term residents in keeping
their homes and our newest residents a desire to move
from transitional housing to homes is needed. During my
time in office, I will work hard to create that new attitude.
We do not need a go at
it alone style leader representing our community's interest
this time around. Our community is blessed by many resources,
our citizens being a source of strength and talent we
cannot continue to ignore. We must not wait for them to
come forth, but nurture their involvement and take their
counsel. United We Can solve
the issues affecting our community. Best
wishes,

| For
over three decades Jean-Claude has worked tirelessly
with the Boston community to improve access to
social, economic and legal services. The community
recognizes Jean-Claude has paid his dues, which
is why they have asked him to run so that they
can have effective representation. In addition
to community engagements, campaigning with different
political leaders, and organizing, he has spent
the last 10 years delivering constituents services.
He is always educating and encouraging others
in civic participation. Mr. Sanon is more than
ready to effectively and immediately represent
and serve the people of the city of Boston.
